 The Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) is a non-profit trade association dedicated to the promotion, protection and advancement of the recreational boating industry in Michigan. The MBIA serves as the voice of boating in Michigan and currently represents nearly 400 marine businesses in Michigan.
The MBIA is the premier boat show producer in the state of Michigan. The Detroit Boat Show held in February at Cobo Center is known as one of the top shows in the country for sales, size and attendance and the Spring Boating Expo held in March at the Rock Financial Show place is a strong follow-up show catering to the surrounding suburban areas.
